​​My first encounter with a voice-over professional in Chicago, IL came with a warning: ‘You’re a broadcaster? It can limit you in the U.S. voice-over market. Broadcasters usually have a newsy style, which isn’t always appreciated.’ I knew my voice had more to offer. I needed a demo that showcased the full range of my voice. Enter casting director Nancy Wolfson ​in Los Angeles, Ca. Together, we created a voice reel that opened new doors. 

After moving to LA, I recorded both from home and in studios, creating original animation roles, dubbing cartoon series, and voicing documentaries and TV shows including several episodes of Fashion Police at the Grammy Awards as the German voice for Kelly Osbourne and Joan Rivers. A former colleague from a Berlin radio station immediately recognized my voice in a spot for Etihad Airways. Over the years, I voiced videos for MSN Germany from celebrity updates to exciting tech trends. Animated content and dubbing are also part of my repertoire.
"People will never forget how you made them feel," the author Maya Angelou once said. Indeed, and he who has mastered a versatile voice can convey professional neutrality or let the full spectrum of emotions flow like notes on a scale.

After returning to Europe, I initially worked as a news presenter and editor in Berlin and wrote articles for daily newspapers and magazines. Currently, I mainly do voice-over work for television programs.
